Deschutes Poncho Winter Camo

Ponchos are a blanket with a slit in the middle so that it can be slipped over the head and worn as a sleeveless garment. People often associate ponchos with Mexico, but the origin of ponchos is from the Andes. Ponchos have been issued to soldiers from the American Civil War to World War II, so they have always been versatile.

Our Deschutes Poncho is hooded to keep the elements at bay. Snaps on each side make for wearing comfort while allowing the poncho to serve, unsnapped, as a camping blanket.

  • The 60” Poncho fits most at the waist.
  • The 68” Poncho hits most at mid-thigh

Ponchos feature our exclusive Deschutes InsulationTM – the innovative combination of responsibly raised wool and ClimashieldTM tow polyester for warmth without weight or bulk. Our insulation is permanently anti-microbial.

All Portland Woolen Mills products boast our unique Thermal Vapor Regulation (TVR) providing warmth through dry skin sorption.

Made in the U.S.A. of American fibers and textiles to U.S. military specifications. Easy care too. Machine wash, cold water, lay flat or hang to dry.
